Want to paddle solo? Skim the flat waters of Summersville Lake or the Blusetone River, or roll over the whitewater of thew New or Gauley rivers. There's a waterway for every skill level.
Beginner? Take a flatwater kayaking tour, or a one-on-one kayak clinic to learn the basics so you can try out a few waves!
Pro? You've probably heard of our world-famous Gauley. Join us for the country's premier kayaking festival, Gauley Fest, or take on the wild waves of "The Beast of the East" and her tamer but playful sister, the New.
Choosing a ducky is either extra easy or an extra challenge! These inflatable kayaks are great for the kids in mild water, and help navigate jagged rocks in wilder whitewater.
The Upper New is calm enough that the kiddos can pair up and paddle their own boat, giving them some freedom in a safe place.
Outside of Gauley season, when this mighty river's water is low, you can take a wild solo journey (well, solo boat— you'll still be in a group with a guide to help you!) through the middle section.
